HCAA is dedicated to the process of learning about history and issues, mostly of the recent past with the desire to understand their impact on modern society. What happened and what could have happened for good or ill as a result of the outcomes of these topics and the effect that this outcome has had on today’s society and attitude.
A monthly meeting is held to hear a guest speaker expound on their topic of interest. The meeting is held in a private room at a hotel so that attendees can avail themselves of dinner and a drink and listen in a convivial atmosphere and have the opportunity to both be informed and to socialize.
